John G. Jones is a promising young tenor with a passion for music and opera. One of John's greatest assets is his powerful upper range. His former voice teacher and mentor, George Tenegal, has said on several occasions that John's voice reminds him of a young Pavarotti and that he has a "Metropolitan Opera quality high D".

In addition to working hard to perfect his craft vocally, John has studied character development at the famed "Second City" in Chicago.  He was also offered a scholarship to study opera at Roosevelt University on Michigan Avenue in Chicago, but declined.  John had decided he was ready to return to Texas after almost five years in the Windy City and now calls Dallas home.

John is currently offering his talents to perform during wedding ceremonies and other special occasions.  He is also available for commercial and voice-over work.  See "projects" for information and a demo of the new opera work "The Dawn".
